SmartKorpor (hereafter “us or “we”) is a software technology company providing various services including a Single Sign On Software System (SSO.) An SSO is a software system that enables an authentication process which allows a user to access multiple digital profiles on various digital platforms with one set of login credentials. The SSO provides to the user (hereafter “you”) the convenience of being able to access various digital profiles without the attendant hassle of keeping track of various sets of log-in data.
We provide the SSO service to various websites, applications, and digital profiles, a full list of which can be found on our partner’s tab.
We are committed to keeping your personal data secure, this relates both to data submitted by you directly to us and any data available to us from our partners. Any data you are required to submit or that is collected by us is either necessary to provide our services to you, sought in order to improve service delivery or collected as mandated by law in order to provide the service you are seeking.
We are cognizant of the fact that the personal data in our possession is personal to you and a part of your property and identity. We shall not use the personal data in any way other than what is contained in this privacy policy.
In handling your personal data, we shall be guided by the precepts of the Constitution of Sierra Leonne, all applicable law and best practices related to data privacy and protection around the globe, and any other regulatory or policy document published by the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leonne.
By signing into any of your digital platforms, profiles or accounts using our SSO you will give tacit consent to us to collect data as per the precepts laid out in this Privacy Policy. You are therefore advised to read through the Privacy Policy and raise any questions you may have about it with our Customer Care team. You are also advised that the Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time and you may therefore need to check for any updates on the policy.
Your rights under data protection best practices and assured by this policy are: to be informed of the use to which your personal data is to be put; to access your personal data in our custody; to object to the processing of all or part of your personal data; to the correction of false or misleading data; and to deletion of false or misleading data about you. Our policy aims to ensure that you are able to exercise all your rights.
We collect or process data related to your log-in credentials this may include your email address, your names, your identification number or other information that you may use as your profile name or profile identifier on any of the websites that signing in through our SSO will give you access to.
We will process authentication and security data. This includes your password (if it is stored), security questions and their answers, data related to multi-factor authentication. We shall also collect data related to your log-in behaviour and this may include number of valid/ invalid log-in attempts, requests for retrieval of passwords, login time stamps and access logs. This is done in order to ensure the security of your digital profiles, making sure that you are the only person who can access them.
We will collect device and technical data, your internet Protocol Address and details of which web browser you use, and cookies relating to your website use. This is done in order to in order to optimise our services to you based on the technical requirements of our users.
We will also process metadata related to your accounts from your account holder. This may be a profile picture or profile name that we will display to ensure seamless integration.
We may process data from our Partners relating to access control in order to ensure that you are given the correct level of access when signing in to your account.
When communicating with customer care you will be required to give information relating to your identity and the reference number from which your issue relates. This is so that we can ensure that our Customer Care team is able to tend to your needs.

We aggregate log-in and authentication data on behalf of various of our Partners allowing you access to multiple digital profiles through one log-in session or with the use of a single set of log-in credentials. The data we collect is aimed at ensuring that the service is carried out seamlessly and securely.
We may share your data with our Partners who are holding the digital profiles that you are logging into. We may share your personal data if compelled to do so by the precepts of any law, court order, or other legal obligation to the Government of Sierra Leone.
We may share your information with third party service providers but only to the extent necessary for them to provide a necessary service to us and after making sure we have the necessary contractual safeguards to ensure that your data will be protected in the same manner that we would protect it.
Under no circumstances will we sell or rent your data to third parties for any purpose whatsoever.
No information that you provide to us will be used to market any product or service to you.
We will only retain your data for as long as is necessary as mandated by any law and shall retain your identity information for at least seven (7) years after the deactivation of your account in line with Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Laws.
We will retain data collected from our partners for as long as you maintain an account profile with them.
We have set up internal systems and processes to ensure that your data is protected. Our cybersecurity protocol is constantly tested and updated to keep up with the latest developments in the field and to ensure that all potential threats are addressed before becoming a reality.
Varying levels of encryption are applied to your data and access control is given in a manner that only allows people who need your data for official purposes such as providing a service access to it.
You have the right to object to our use of your personal data. Note that we will be unable to facilitate your access to your various digital profiles if you object to our use of any log-in or authentication data.
You have the right to correct or delete any personal data that may be collected about you. The data we keep is provided by our Partners and you may be required to contact the holders of your account profiles or edit the digital profiles directly in order change the data held about you.

The Policy may be updated from time to time in line with changes in law and best practices on data protection around the world. In the event that this happens the date on which the policy is updated will also change to enable you confirm when changes are made.
